Welcome to our ‘Joyful Living with Meditation’ retreat. “How is that possible?”, I hear you ask. Isn’t meditation a serious affair? No, that couldn’t be further from the truth! There are many misconceptions about meditation. One of those misconceptions is that meditation is just shutting your eyes, keeping still, and trying to keep your mind quiet, which is often a frustrating task. While this is one technique of meditation, there are countless, more fun, techniques waiting to be explored. Another misconception is that meditation and normal life do not go hand in hand. Either you take yourself away from “normal” life in order to meditate, or you remain in “normal” life but don’t have the time, energy or focus to meditate, right? Wrong! During this retreat, we will show you how to merge the two worlds, so that your whole life becomes one big, joyful meditation.

It is no accident that you have been drawn to this retreat listing. Your soul is crying out for a change. It cannot go on living a life full of boredom, frustration, and suffering any more. It is looking for a new, practical way of enjoying life. Description 

Meditation is something that anyone, and we mean ANYONE, can do. In truth, with the right guidance, you can do any task meditatively. It is not what you are doing in life that is causing you suffering, but with what state of consciousness you are doing it with. During our retreat, you will learn how to enjoy ANYTHING by turning it into a meditation.

However, our aim is not only to show you how to turn your life into one big meditation, but to introduce you to many amazing and fun activities that you might like to explore beyond the retreat. Here are some of the activities on offer at this retreat:

Not only does meditation help you enjoy life more, but it helps you remember who you are. You cannot know who you really are without meditation. What your soul is really longing for, that longing that has never been fulfilled and has stayed with you your whole life, is to remember who you really are. Once you remember, you will be so overcome with peace, love and joy that you will know that you have finally found IT!

At our retreats, you will find yourself in an unconditionally loving, accepting and non-judgemental environment that allows you the freedom to just be your true, natural self.

What Makes This Retreat Special?

We are not interested in putting on retreats that just give you a brief respite from the world. No, you will leave our retreat with the tools you need to enjoy life beyond the retreat.

No other retreat helps you explore as many different types of meditative techniques as we do, nor does any other retreat help guide you on how to do everything meditatively. We show you how to merge the two worlds of meditation and “normal” life together.

We are also all about fun. Meditation is all about enjoying yourself and not taking life seriously. If you find yourself being serious, then you are not in a meditative state. There is plenty of singing, dancing, laughing and games at our retreats.

This retreat is literally suitable and beneficial for ANYONE. No matter your age, health condition, race, gender, belief system, or experience level. There is no philosophy you need to agree with at our retreat. We just introduce you to fun meditative activities, and all you need to do is come and enjoy them. No matter who you are, you will greatly benefit from our retreats, and you would be a fantastic addition to the group.

What’s more, we are specialists in helping you connect on a deep level with all the other retreat guests. Many long-term friendships and romantic relationships have been formed between many previous guests of our retreats.

Program 

The exact timetable will be given to guests a month before the retreat. However, you can expect each day to involve different activities, such as:

Our aim is to introduce you to many fun, meditative activities, as well as to show you how to enjoy anything by doing it meditatively.

Food 

Three delicious vegan/vegetarian Buddha bowl meals are provided each day to help you detox and feel good throughout the retreat. Many previous guests have said that even our meals alone have been worth the trip to come to the retreat.

We do cater for most dietary requirements and allergies except for nut allergies.

Each guest will also have access to unlimited water, tea, herbal tea, and coffee throughout the day.

Location 

The cottage where the retreat will be held is located in Walcott, which is in Norwich in the UK. (The exact location given to guests closer to the time).

The cottage is within a very quiet, remote, secluded area surrounded by lovely countryside, and is only a 14-minute walk to the nearest beach.

All guests have full access to the cottage's facilities.

How To Get There 

The easiest, cheapest, and most convenient way to get to the retreat is to drive there. However, If traveling by public transport, it is best to make your way to Norwich station. We can then arrange a lift for you from there to the retreat. The closest airport to the retreat is Norwich Airport (NWI).

There will usually be another retreat guest who can give you a lift from a station that is on their way to the retreat. We will sort this out for you so that you do not have to spend a lot of money on travel costs.

The exact location of the retreat will be given to guests closer to the time.

  • Private Room with En-Suite

    This ticket entitles 1 person to stay for 3 nights in a private room with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. We provide luxurious, warm, comfortable, indoor accommodation. All guests will receive a towel for their stay.

  • Single Bed In Shared Room

    This ticket entitles 1 person to stay for 3 nights in a single bed in a shared room (shared with 2 other guests) with access to a shared bathroom. All efforts will be made to ensure you are sharing a room with only those of the same gender, and if you are a light sleeper, we will make all efforts to ensure that you are not sharing a room with someone who snores.

    This ticket entitles 1 person to stay for 3 nights in a private room with a king-sized bed and access to a shared bathroom. We provide luxurious, warm, comfortable, indoor accommodation. All guests will receive a towel for their stay.
